New Zealand Friend

 While working at the Polynesian, I made friends with a girl from New Zealand. She is literally the funniest person you'll ever meet. She is staying here for a whole year. She is 20, so a year older than myself. She explained that her high school system is completely different than ours. They have specialties within high school. As well as the school hours are different. She has taught me words in her native language- she has to keep telling me over and over again because I am quite forgetful. Another fun fact, their money is different sizes; each dollar bill is a different size and color. They also have photos of the English royalty on them (England owns New Zealand). 

We've had many encounters with little children thinking we are twins until we start talking. She has a New Zealand accent and I have an American accent. The thing about this situation that is super hysterical is that she is blonde and I am brunette. Not to mention we look nothing alike but we get mistaken for one another (it's probably because we're always together).
